In terms of politics, it is a democratic country.
The people have real power through real elections of deputies, akims, judges. In the state, the opposition is present and welcomed. There is a bipartisan system. Two parties are in constant struggle for power and for the votes and sympathies of citizens. The leader of the winning party becomes president, but for no more than two terms. No words about the special status and indispensability of some person work and affect society. No one stands above the law, since no branch of power belongs completely to any of the parties. In each body there are political opponents, therefore, it is impossible to manage the parliament, the government, or the courts single-handedly. Due to this, corruption is minimized.
Citizens have the right to express their opinion at any time and in any place. There are no restrictions on holding rallies, marches and demonstrations.
In terms of freedom of speech, it is a pluralistic country.
There is no Ministry of Information. There are no state orders for the praise of the ruling party. All media are private. They belong to different groups, associations, oligarchs. All of them have different interests, that is why they unite in some issues, in some they counteract. Because of this there are always different points of view on any question in the country. Compromises and scandals periodically disturb the public. They result in resignation of an official or the entire government, or impeachment to the president. There is full freedom of speech. That is, you can say everything. Criminal responsibility for libel has been abolished. But if someone cannot prove his accusations by facts, people cease to believe him. Therefore, caring about their reputation, serious media have long ceased to publish lies or indefensible sensations.
In terms of economy, it is a country with market economy.
There are many small and medium-sized companies in the country. The regulation of business is so simple and transparent that opening of an enterprise and production can be done by anyone. The laws are clear and executable, so there is no point in hiding something and paying bribes. Everyone pays taxes. Akimats do not have illegal levers of influence on business, therefore they cannot force to build kindergartens, schools, interchanges. All this is built using money from the budget.
State presence in the economy is minimized. There are practically no state companies.
In terms of international relations, it is a friendly, peace-loving country.
The state adheres to neutrality. It does not belong to any military alliances. It maintains close economic ties with all partners on an equal footing.
In national terms it is a multinational country.
The diasporas are developing freely, they have national cultural centers. At the same time, the Kazakhs are recognized as the state-forming nationality. This means that the state language is Kazakh, the culture and traditions of the country are considered to be Kazakh. In all other respects, the Kazakhs do not have any advantage over other nationalities. All people equal.
In terms of religion, it is a secular state with freedom of religion.
Religion is separated from the state, and the school is separated from religion. There are dozens of denominations. All of them are peaceful. None of them follow the postulates of intolerance towards the gentiles.
In terms of legality, it is a law-based state.
Law applies to everyone without discrimination. No high position, no money, no connections make it impossible to avoid responsibility for offenses. Therefore, all people are law-abiding. Nobody takes bribes, knocks down people on the road, nobody uses public transport for personal purposes, does not arrange relatives for positions.
The streets of cities and villages are safe. You can walk at any time and not be afraid of being beaten or robbed.
In terms of public morality, it is a high-moral country.
Social relations are regulated not only by laws, but also by public opinion. It is considered indecent to behave aggressively, rude, swear, drink a lot, scold and beat children. It is considered decent to be polite, friendly, give way to the person coming from opposite direction, smile, stand up for the elderly and women on the bus, take care of children.
