I do not believe in different types of superstition.

I cannot understand how three grams of saliva emitted by me through left shoulder could change trajectory of brick, which is going to fall on my head around the corner.

What is the connection between them?!

Or which troubles can a grandmother with empty buckets bring, if I am not her grandson, and it is not my duty to go to well to fill these buckets with water?

Generally, I tend to think that superstition is subconscious desire to share responsibility for own future with unfamiliar supernatural forces. That is why, in general, morally weak people, especially gentle fragile women, are superstitious.

Strong and self-confident people do not care about any black cats.
